Maintenance Technician

JOB FUNCTION / PURPOSE

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance to ensure that buildings, equipment, and systems operate safely and efficiently. This role involves inspecting, repairing, and servicing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems while supporting a clean and safe working environment. The technician will respond to service calls, conduct preventive maintenance, and help reduce downtime or hazards through timely interventions.

Lead Operator

FLSA STATUS:  Non-exempt

JOB FUNCTION / PURPOSE

The Operator is responsible for coordinating, training and overseeing Operators 1 & 2 cleaning, lubricating, inspecting, adjusting, and making minor repairs to the wastewater treatment plant equipment. The Operator shall properly collect, analyze, preserve and document custody of plant samples. A Level License required.

Operator I

FLSA STATUS:  Non-exempt

JOB FUNCTION / PURPOSE

Operator I is responsible for regulatory compliant operation of the wastewater treatment plant facility. The Operator shall perform cleaning, lubricating, inspecting, adjusting, and making minor repairs to the wastewater treatment plant equipment. The Operator shall properly collect, analyze, preserve and document custody of plant samples. The Operator must have a C level or above license.

Utility Technician I

FLSA STATUS:  Non-exempt

JOB FUNCTION / PURPOSE

The Utility Technician is responsible for performing daily activities of the Utility Technician team of collection and distribution line specialist. Responsible for a wide range of duties to include; laying pipes, lines, water meters, meter reading, installing or removing water meters and other heavy physical activities

JOB FUNCTION / PURPOSE

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the water utilities office.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Education/Experience:  High School Diploma or GED.   Previous administrative experience preferred. 

Licenses/Certifications:  Valid Driver’s License. 

Technical:  Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet; Ability to work with basic office equipment & phone systems;

Communication:  Communicates clearly & professionally; Contributes to a positive internal & external customer experience; Maintains composure in challenging situations;

Problem Solving & Quality:  Pays attention to detail; Identifies & solves complex issues;
